Christian Parenting

“The family should be a closely knit group. The home should be a self-contained shelter of security; a kind of school where life’s basic lessons are taught; and a kind of church where God is honored; a place where wholesome recreation and simple pleasures are enjoyed.”

Billy Graham

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

There is no greater example of love, than the Love of Jesus Christ. As Christian parents, we strive to imitate Christ, yet while remaining imperfect, doing our best is at the heart of each step of the Christian parenting journey. Some of our greatest strengths or individual parenting highlight reels share fibers of God’s grace, such as patience, knowledge, understanding, and of course, love. Many veteran parents will be the first to tell new parents that no matter how consistent your parenting, the outcomes can be very opposite within our own sample of children. When Christ washed the feet of the Apostles, he gave us a vivid concept of servant leadership. As parents, there is a lot of washing with our children, but serving the family and demonstrating servant leadership requires a commitment putting our families first. In a world outside of the Christian home, children will tempted to focus on self-gratification. 10-20-30GO! provides opportunities for children to practice behavior that serves the family. Putting toys away isn’t fun, but doing it because it helps mom, dad, or the family demonstrates the understanding of servant leadership.

Part of our Christian responsibility as parents is to not only introduce Christ to our children, but help them get to know Him. Our personal habits will often affect our children. When we’re challenged with the task of raising our kids on paths towards Heaven, the challenge is often daunting.

10-20-30GO! is more than just chore charts, but rather a Christian parenting program. Many of our customers who have given us kind testimonials have cited the increased Bible reading with their children, or the initiatives kids take in saying prayers before meals or bedtime. By providing weekly scriptures to focus on, children are not only exposed to the Bible, but are getting a chance to apply scripture to their daily lives. Teaching values and virtues is part of the 10-20-30GO! system, and within just one year, parents see an increased vocabulary and sense of Christian awareness within their own children. Get started with 10-20-30-GO! today!
